What is blue and yellow stars flag?

The blue and yellow stars flag is the national Flag of Brazil. It consists of a dark green field with a large yellow rhombus in the center, which is said to represent the wealth of Brazil from its natural resources like gold and other minerals. Inside the rhombus is a blue circle with 27 white five-pointed stars arranged in a pattern; one star for each State of the Federative Republic, including the Federal District (whose star is located near the center of the circle).

The flag was adopted on November 19, 1889, four days after Brazil declared itself a republic. The blue and yellow stars flag has since then underwent some changes, but the basic design remains the same. The flag has a ratio of 7:10.

The blue circle and stars symbolize the sky and the Federal District's location therein, respectively. The stars also stand for the 27 federal units of Brazil, including the states and the Federal District.
